On 12 May 2022, the General Assembly of the Network of Associations of Local Authorities of the Southeast Europe (NALAS), network that was set up twenty years ago within the orbit of the Council of Europe and with the support of Swiss cooperation (SDC), took place in Belgrade.
The new president of the network, Goran Cvetanovic, elected for one year, is Mayor of the town of Leskovac in southern Serbia. President of the Serbian Association of Local Authorities, he succeeded Tatiana Badan, Mayor and President of the Association of Municipalities of Moldova. The following day, 13 May, a session was held on sustainable water management and water treatment in cities. As a founding member of NALAS, FEDRE participated in both meetings.
