With the aim of putting cross-border cooperation back at the top of the EU’s political agenda, the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) adopted a resolution on July 1 calling on the European Commission to present a proposal aimed at maintaining cross-border cooperation and cross-border life in the event of future crises.
The resolution contains numerous proposals aimed at improving cross-border cooperation and calls on the European Commission to monitor existing legislation and treaties, the implementation of which could often still be improved.
