The Conquest of Space
Rockets? Satellites? Elon Musk? Not this year. The title of the upcoming Mobility Forum, organized by Le Temps and the tpg on September 14 in Geneva, is meant to be eye-catching. But we’ll be discussing a conquest of space that’s a bit different from what first comes to mind.
Indeed, whether underground, on our streets, or overhead, the various players in the mobility sector are currently engaged in a fierce battle to claim ever more space for their mode of transportation.
Given all these expectations, we will explore, among other things, how to design the neighborhoods of tomorrow, as well as how Switzerland envisions its underground transportation system and whether urban drones will soon be arriving in Switzerland.
The third edition of the Mobility Forum, co-organized by Le Temps and the tpg, aims to explore these various topics. The event will bring together some 400 participants, including business and academic leaders, transportation officials, and representatives of civil society.
