From September6to9, 2022, Slovenia will host the world’s leading event in the field of tall wooden buildings, attracting over 1,000 participants from all sectors of the built environment, as well as policymakers and standards-setting bodies.
The congress embodies the core principles of the European Green Deal and the New European Bauhaus. It showcases best global practices in timber engineering and architecture with the aim of promoting the sustainable transformation and development of the construction sector. In 2022, the congress will also place a strong emphasis on therenovation, rehabilitation, and restoration of existing urban buildings using wood-based technologies.
The conference will take place at the crossroads of three distinct cultures, where the forests of the East meet the construction technologies of the West.
