The International Advanced Mobility Forum prepares its 5th edition in the framework of the Geneva International Motor Show 2012. For the first time the event will take place on the second press day and the first public day (Wednesday and Thursday, 7-8 March 2012). The organisers have chosen these dates to facilitate the participation of the media and the speakers.
Spotlight on future technology… and human behaviour
Man-machine interfaces are on the increase. Technology takes more and more often corrective actions against human errors. Electronic devices multiply communication technologies. Population is aging.
Bernhard Gerster, President of IAMF and Head of the Automotive Engineering Division at Bern University of Applied Sciences, Engineering and Information Technology (BFH-TI) points out the importance of these considerations: "In this context, human behaviour needs to be analysed when confronted with new alternatives in mobility. We have to understand how people accept technical ingression and how older generations deal with new technology."
This debate will be an integral part of the programme which will of course also give an insight of cutting edge technology and alternative energies for our mobility of tomorrow.
