IAMF 2010

The International Advanced Mobility Forum (IAMF) took place for the first time in March 2008 with the goal of promoting transportation technologies and energy sources which respect the environment. The Geneva International Motor Show was giving an ideal framework to this scientific and public forum focused on key aspects and issues related to individual mobility for the future.

The third edition of IAMF will once again be held during the second week of the Geneva International Motor Show on 9th and 10th of March 2010.

Since IAMF 2009 concentrated on alternative fuels and energy resources for the future, the 2010 edition will primarily be devoted to advanced vehicle technologies and energy storage in the vehicle:

The following subjects will be discussed:

1. Advanced powertrain technologies
2. Alternative powertrain systems in motorsport
3. Energy storage in the vehicle and its fuelling / charging infrastructure
4. Advanced vehicle technologies
5. Introduction of new technologies into the market
6. Safety aspects of new energy carriers

IAMF is organised by Geneva Palexpo in partnership with the association e’mobile, the Competence Center for Energy and Mobility (CCEM) of Paul Scherrer Institut, Gasmobil ag and Euresearch. The event is also supported by the International Energy Agency (IEA), the Swiss Energy Council, the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (OFEN), auto-schweiz, FISITA, the Union Pétrolière, the Geneva International Motor Show and other partners.

IAMF is presided over by Max Mosley, President of the FIA, who will be accompanied by important personalities from the political, economic, and scientific worlds.

This year over 200 participants followed the debates and roundtables.
